NBA YoungBoy is alive and well and did not die in his cell despite a report circulating the internet.
“The worlds biggest artist NBA YOUNGBOY who’s real name is Kentrell DeSeaun Gaulden was found dead in his cell earlier today,” part of the post reads.
USA Today confirmed the news after speaking to Greg Moroux, chief legal counsel at St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office, the facility where he is being held.
NBA YOUNGBOY EXPECTING 8TH CHILD
The rapper is in custody at St. Martin Parish Correctional Center after he was arrested in Los Angeles in March following a wild police chase. He was eventually sniffed out by police dogs.
YoungBoy had an outstanding warrant on drug and weapons charges from a September 2020 arrest in Baton Rouge. He pleaded not guilty to one count of felon in possession of a firearm and one count of possession of an unregistered firearm. His trial is slated to take place next month.
