Master P says he wants to be the next coach of the LA Lakers.
“They need some alpha males over there. Can’t get nothing bigger than me,” Master P told TMZ. “If you want to win, bring me in. At least give it a shot because this is Hollywood.”
He continued: “When you look at the Lakers, I know what Mr. Buss done, he thought outside the box. So, if Jeanie Buss wants to think outside the box, I’ll bring some hell of assistant coaches with me like Shaq, John Lucas. I don’t know if Shaq wants to do that, but if he do, we can take over.”
In December, Master P announced that his son Hercy Miller would be transferring out of Tennessee State after they failed to give him proper medical attention after suffering a hip injury in the Tigers’ first game.
“We’ve got a great program at Tennessee State, we’ve got great people, we loved the culture, we just don’t have enough trainers,” Master P said. “We don’t have enough medical people to take care of what needs to be taken care of. We don’t have the technology that the Dukes and all these major universities have. An injury like this could have been prevented.”
