MTO News spoke with two people associated with Kanye West, and both are extremely worried that Kanye may become "suicidal" after Drake releases his new album tomorrow.
Kanye and Drake have had a long and complicated history, and throughout their relationship, there's always been some underlying beef - and jealousy on Kanye's part.
In his early years transitioning from acting to music, Drake often name-checked West as an influence. In 2007, he even freestyled over West's Graduation cut "Barry Bonds." Later, when Drake dropped his debut album, Thank Me Later, in 2010, West appeared in its credits as a producer and co-writer on the single "Find Your Love."

The two formed a friendship, but as the years went by, elements of competition and comparison seeped in. Kanye started out as a friend/mentor, but as Drake got more popular - Ye became insidiously jealous. Their relationship is a story of two friends/foes whose tensions have seemingly led to this latest breaking point.
Last week Kanye released his latest album Donda, with mixed reviews.
Now Drake plans on releasing his album Certified Lover Body tomorrow - and MTO News spoke with multiple music industry insiders who tell us that Certified Lover Boy is going to be the biggest and best received album of 2021.
Kanye's friends know it, and they're worried how the clinically bipolar rapper will react to being defeated by Drake publicly.
One of Kanye's friends told MTO News, "Kanye's not going to be able to take it, when Drake's album drops and is more successful."
Another friend explained, "Ye is in a dark place right now. This could push him over the edge."
