YNW Melly’s manager says the rapper will be home in two months.
“Stop asking me if I’m a rapper now,” he wrote. “I’m everything but a hater get on y’all sh*t 2022 all gas and Melly come home in two months y’all better tighten up.”
YNW Melly will stand trial on March 7, 2022 for double murder.
The rapper is being held after he was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in February 2019 for allegedly shooting YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty. His attorneys asked for a speedy trial.
The prosecution is also asking for the rapper’s DNA with an oral swab to try and match DNA found at the crime scene where he allegedly shot and killed his friends YNW Juvy (Christopher Thomas Jr.) and YNW Sakchaser (Anthony Thomas) in October 2018.
The rapper denies the charges against him and has pleaded not guilty. His manager obviously thinks a jury will find him not guilty.
