YBN Almighty Jay has revealed that an allegedly crooked lawyer is the reason behind the group splitting up.
“This n*gga James McMillan is a fraud. He sign n*ggas to janky deals and f*ck em over. Nobody know nothing about the sh*t we go through on a daily basis being signed to this n*gga ’cause we cover for this n*ggas ass. I’m done with this sh*t,” he wrote.
Both YBN Nahmir and Cordae liked the Instagram post.
Almighty Jay continued: “Trademarking the YBN name behind n*ggas backs. Assigned me a lawyer he used to be engaged to without telling me. SMH. Took advantage of some kids bro — If y’all really wanna know why YBN broke up,” he concluded.
COPS PULL YBN ALMIGHTY JAY OVER
The YBN (Young Boss N*gga) crew was established in 2014. It was founded by YBN Nahmir, YBN Almighty Jay and YBN Cordae — but the group split last summer.
“They left this YBN sh*t in the gutter,” YBN Nahmir wrote at the time. “Remember that. I’ll turn it up myself. #ybnNAHMIR.”
