Willie Taylor is another former Making The Band contestant calling Diddy out for the show.
“MAKING THE BAND WAS AN EXPERIENCE FOR SURE ….. BUT THE PLATFORM AND CONTRACTS WERE ALL SET UP FOR THE FAILURE OF HUNGRY TALENTS,” he wrote on Instagram.
Willie captioned the post: “Learning experience. You gotta understand that people will do to you whatever you allow them, so don’t let your passion drive you to the wrong destination. #MTB4 Day 26/Danity Kane are talented groups but the situation in which we met was designed to to fail.”
In 2019, MTV announced that the series would be returning to the network in 2020 but that was postponed due to the pandemic.
“It’s not just about America and America’s music. It’s about everybody’s voice,” Diddy said in an announcement video at the time. “So we’re doing a global talent search.”
Over four seasons, the show spawned the groups O-Town, Da Band, Danity Kane, and, Day 26.
