NBA star Steph Curry’s wife Ayesha Curry is going viral this morning, after MTO News learned she posted a pro-Israel post on Instagram. Ayesha and Steph are devout Christians, and have visited Israel multiple times.

Ayesha’s post only tells half the story, according to fans, and has angered many.
Israelis and Palestinians have been in an armed conflict for days – and many international observers have criticized Israel for their particularly heavy handed response to Palestinian aggression.
The recent violence is the worst violence between Israel and Palestinian groups since 2014, with the conflict escalating over the final Ramadan weekend.

It all started when, over the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Israel imposed a limit of 10,000 people gathering for prayers at the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. Tens of thousands of Muslims were turned back from the mosque, which was condemned by both moderate Israelis and Palestinians across the board.
Palestinians protested Israel’s actions and Israeli police used gas and stun grenades both outside and inside the mosque to stop the protests. Those actions drew widespread Palestinian condemnation.
A Palestinian terrorist group, Hamas ,then fired rockets into the Gaza Strip, in what the militant group says was retaliation for Israeli actions in the Al Aqsa compound.
In response Israel has fired hundreds of rockets into Gaza, displacing tens of thousands of Palestinians and killing potentially thousands.
