‘The Suicide Squad’ Director Defends Pete Davidson

Suicide Squad director James Gunn has defended Pete Davidson after Kanye West’s new “Eazy” video.

“For the record, Pete Davidson is one of the nicest, sweetest guys I know. A truly generous, tender & funny spirit, he treats everyone around him with respect,” he tweeted.

In the video, Ye kidnaps Pete, puts a bag over his head, buries him up to his neck, plants roses on him before decapitating him.

“We havin’ the best divorce ever / If we go to court, we’ll go to court together/ Matter of fact, pick up your sis, we’ll go to Kourt’s together,” Ye raps.

The video ends with title cards that read: “Everyone lived happily every after / Except Skete you know who / JK he’s fine.” This week, a judge granted Kim Kardashian’s request to be declared legally single. Kanye is now dating Kim lookalike, Chaney Jones but they are reportedly not official although they’ve posted each other on their Instagram pages.
