Soulja Boy Signs Chet Hanks To His Record Label

Chet Hanks is getting another chance to launch his rap career — as he’s been signed to Soulja Boy’s record label.

“Chet Hanks, my new artist. We ’bout to make history,” says Soulja.

Chet also posted the video. “JUST SIGNED TO #SODMG‼️JUST WAIT TO SEE WHAT WE DO NEXT @souljaboy @sodmgrecordsllc U DIGG.”

Hanks went viral earlier this year after he proclaimed that this summer will be a “white boy summer.”

“I just got this feeling man, that this summer is, it’s about to be a white boy summer. Take it how you want,” he says in the video. “I’m not talking about Trump, NASCAR type white,” he added. “I’m talking about, you know, me, Jon B, Jack Harlow type white boy summer. Let me know if you guys can vibe with that and get ready, ‘cuz I am.”

He’s also been accused of cultural appropriation in the past:

“That to me, is confusing because just look at all the different varieties of European cultures . . . Second of all, let’s assume that’s true, let’s assume white people have no culture, but if they did have a culture, what would that be like?” he said at the time.
