Rae Sremmurd rapper Slim Jxmmi will not face a misdemeanor battery charge because his girlfriend recanted her testimony.
According to TMZ, she recanted her story during a recent appearance in court.
Cops were called to his 20th-floor apartment at the CANVAS condominium building. When officers showed up, a woman reportedly told them that he had pulled her hair extensions from her scalp to stop her from picking up their sleeping baby from a playpen after getting into a dispute over a woman he was following on Twitter.
Slim Jxmmi allegedly told her he was going to the gym, but she was suspicious that he was going to meet a woman at the bar.
She allegedly recorded a video of the attack and the rapper fought for her phone but she says she managed to send a video to a friend on Instagram before he got his hands on it and tossed it from the balcony, police said.
