Sharon Osbourne has been fired from The Talk after she defended Piers Morgan on air over his remarks about Meghan Markle.
“The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home. As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace,” CBS said in a statement released to CNN.
Sharon also claimed that the network had set her up, and that she was “blindsided” by the questioning about Piers on air.

“We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts,” the statement continued.
What’s happened to @MrsSOsbourne is an absolute disgrace that shames CBS. Bullied out of her job for defending me against an invented slur of racism because I don’t believe a liar. In tomorrow’s Mail on Sunday, I’ll tell MY truth about this woke cancel culture bulls*t. pic.twitter.com/9m4QPEkmD3

“The only thing worse than a disgruntled former employee is a disgruntled former talk show host,” her spokesperson Howard Bragman said in a statement to CNN eearlier this month. “For 11 years Sharon has been kind, collegial and friendly with her hosts as evidenced by throwing them parties, inviting them to her home in the UK and other gestures of kindness too many to name. Sharon is disappointed but unfazed and hardly surprised by the lies, the recasting of history and the bitterness coming out at this moment.”
