Rowdy Rebel Not Dropping Music Until Epic Records Pays Him

Rowdy Rebel says he won't be dropping any more music until Epic Records pays him his coins.

"I'm not dropping no more music until @epicrecords pay me," he wrote. "I haven't received one check for all the music I put out since 2014. I been patient but enough is enough."

In 2014, Rowdy was arrested for conspiracy, attempted murder, attempted assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of a weapon. He initially pleaded not guilty to all of the charges but later flipped his plea in exchange for a 6 to 7-year prison sentence. His sentence began in 2016 but he was released from prison last year.

"The feeling I felt, it was overwhelming," he said of his release in an interview last December. "It's hard to explain, still. There's still people I haven't seen in so long… It feels so good to be home with all my peers and my family, for real."
