Rory & Mal filmed their own podcast yesterday, MTO News has learned, where they responded to JOE BUDDEN – and attempted to set the record straight. Rory and Mal were co-hosts to Joe’s popular podcast. But Joe fired the two last week, after they refused to show up to work.
When Joe fired the duo, he claimed that they were “employees” that were paid “more” than their contract provided for. According to Joe, the two began asking for an accounting of the podcast, but he refused. According to Joe, the employees did not own the podcast, or have any equity in it, and so they didn’t deserve the right to see the company’s books.

But now Rory and Mal are giving their side of things. According to Rory, their contract called for them to be paid a percentage of the podcasts profits, not a salary. MTO News learned that the two are claiming that in order to calculate how much their owed they needed to see the company’s books.
