Weeks after being fired from The Joe Budden Podcast, Rory and Mal released their new podcast episode.
The episode was just over an hour, but fans were pleased to see the pair back at it.
“I just kind of wanted to shut the f*ck up for a few weeks,” said Rory. “It was five years of non-stop talking. I was listening back to old episodes and I was like, ‘Yo, can this kid just shut the f*ck up?’ It was definitely a self-awareness time of a few weeks. I just don’t — my opinion shouldn’t be out there.”
Budden fired them live on his podcast after they refused to show up for work a second time.
“Y’all will not continue to treat me this way. Y’all not going to continue to treat these people this way. Y’all take that f* ckin’ dark energy, that arrogance and entitlement somewhere else. I say all of that to say, we gonna do this since Rory feels like he has so many options,” he said at the time.

“Somehow he still feels he’s running the show,” he continued. “He still feels like he has choices and options. He feels like he’s entitled to more. Rory, you are in breach of your contract and from this point forward, you are fired! And you’re not welcome back…. Mal, I’m the person that has to say that. The gall of you to think you are deserving the way that I am.”
