RHOSLC’s Meredith Marks accused Jen Shah of being homophobic towards her son, Brooks, during the debut episode of season 2.
Meredith was upset with Lisa Barlow for her close friendship with Jen. She says Jen has been liking tweets on social media which have used homophobic slurs against her son.

She said Jen has done “terrible, despicable, repugnant things,” and as Lisa defended her she added, “I fully respect somebody’s feelings, but you can’t use it as an excuse to mistreat other people — which is what she has done for a year!”
Meredith says Jen has no right to speak on her son’s sexuality as Brooks has not spoken to his family about it. Viewers have just assumed he is gay.
She continued, “To me, what Jen did to Meredith was not much different from what Heather and Whitney did to me. They perpetuated and created lies about me and my character.”
