This week, Bravo confirmed that Kelly Dodd will not be returning to the show for the next season and that Heather Dubrow will be making a return.
Kelly has proved to be one of the show’s most controversial cast members, but viewers felt that mocking Black Lives Matter and COVID-19 were a step too far.
Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Elizabeth Lyn Vargas also will not return.
Shannon Storms Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson, however, are all returning to the show.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star recently revealed that she and her new husband, Rick Leventhal, have tested positive for Lyme disease.
“So, we tested positive for Lyme disease,” Kelly wrote on her Instagram Story. “I’ve never had contact with a tick in my life,” she said. Rick says this is the third time he’s caught the tick-borne disease.
Lyme disease is caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi and, rarely, Borrelia mayonii. It is transmitted to humans through the bite of infected ticks.
