“Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” rapper Silento has been indicted on four charges in connection with the shooting death of his cousin.
Silento was charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony — four charges in total. Frederick Rooks died after being shot several times in January. When the cops arrived, Rooks way lying in the middle of the road.
“However, after a thorough investigation, DKPD detectives identified Hawk as Rooks’ cousin, and the person responsible for Rooks’ murder,” DeKalb police spokeswoman Michaela Vincent said. “Investigators are still working to uncover the motive for the shooting.”
Shortly after, his publicist released a statement.
“Over the past several years, Ricky has been suffering immensely from a series of mental health illnesses,” Chanel Hudson said in a statement on Instagram. “We will continue in his efforts of treatment, but we ask in the meantime the public uplift him and his family in immediate prayer.”

Months later, Silento was arrested last for assault with a deadly weapon after being accused of walking into a stranger’s unlocked home in Los Angeles and swinging a hatchet at the two people inside.
He is still being held without bond.
