Rapper Sheff G has been arrested for felony gun possession.
The artist was taken into custody and he will have to remain behind bars until his August 18 court appearance before the judge.
“NY Drill Artist Sheff G arrested for Gun Possession in NYC,” DJ Akademiks tweeted over the weekend. “He’s remanded and will have to wait for a bond hearing to find out when he’ll be able to bail out. Next court hearing is August 18th.”

Earlier this year, he was arrested on charges of illegal gun possession after the cops allegedly caught him driving with a handgun during a traffic stop.
“We will vigorously defend these charges,” his attorney Mitchell Elman said to the NY Post at the time. “I have no further comment at this time.”
On the same day, Winner’s Circle rapper Eli Fross was arrested for a Times Square shooting and is currently facing an attempted murder charge and a weapons charges after allegedly shooting at a man during a road rage incident.
