Almost 50 organizations removed Prince Andrew as a patron after he was linked to the Jeffrey Epstein pedophile ring scandal.
The prince came under fire for his friendship with Epstein. He was also accused of having sex with Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre, when she was 17. Victoria leaked a picture of the two of them standing alongside alleged madam Ghislaine Maxwell.
The fallout peaked after Prince Andrew sat down for an interview, where he spoke in depth about his connections to Epstein. He denied any wrongdoing.
He acknowledged that Epstein “conducted himself in a manner unbecoming.” “Unbecoming?” responded the BBC interviewer. “He was a sex offender.” “Yeah, I’m sorry, I’m being polite,” he said.

The interview was a disaster and the royal family were upset with him. Soon after it aired, he stepped away from his royal duties and decided to lay low for a while.
The feds are waiting to interview Prine Andrew but reports say he is refusing to fly to the U.S. to speak with them.
