Pooh Shiesty Withdraws Request To Delay Trial

Rapper Pooh Shiesty has withdrawn a request to delay his trial this month.

Shiesty is awaiting a trial over allegations that he shot a man in the buttocks during an alleged Florida robbery. His trial is set to begin on October 25th. Prosecutors say Shiesty and two members of his crew allegedly shot and robbed two individuals from whom they were buying marijuana and sneakers and fled the scene. They reportedly used semi-automatic weapons.

The Miami Herald reported that federal authorities found a Louis Vuitton bag that contained more than $40,000 in cash at the scene.

Pooh initially asked for the trial to be delayed until December 6th to properly build his defense. His attorneys now believe “in their best interest to proceed to trial” in three weeks, “even in light of the voluminous discovery.”
