Chicago police have confirmed that late rapper King Von was responsible for the murder of 17-year-old teen, Gakirah Barnes.
According to the cops, Gakirah was assassinated by a hooded man in 2014 as she walked to a friend’s house. Von had alluded to him being the perpetrator of the killing but did not face charges.
KING VON’S FRIEND COMES OUT OF COMA
“The investigation revealed that the victim was killed by, Dayvon BENNETT [King Von],” the FOIA document states.
“The CCSAO reviewed the investigation and concurred that BENNETT was positively identified as the offender in the incident and felt that they would be unable to meet the burden of proof in court and formally Rejected charges…It should be noted Dayvon BENNETT was charged with First Degree Murder recorded under HX 281542 in that he shot and killed Malcolm STUCKEY (No IR) on 29 May 14.”
UK tabloid The Mirror, reported that Gakirah once boasted about being 17 and killing 17 people.

“Her friends started getting shot and I think that she got sucked into gang life and she realised that’s where she’s going to get respect and honour and the warm fuzzies that other kids get from playing basketball or playing chess or something in high school,” Frank Main, a journalisttold the news outlet.
