Plies Says It Was Him On The Kirk Franklin Recording

Rapper Plies is taking responsibility for the Kirk Franklin recording of him cursing out his son — he says it was him.

“I Gotta Put My Dawg On The Album Now 4real!!!! He Sounded Just Like Me On That Phone Bih!!!! #AintNoneOfUsPerfect,” Plies tweeted. “That Was NOT My Dawg On That Phone That Was ME!!!!! #ITakeFullResponsiblityForThoseActions.”

Over the weekend, Kirk Franklin apologized for leaked audio of him cursing out his son.

“Recently my son and I had an argument that he chose to record. I felt extremely disrespected in that conversation and I lost my temper and I said words that are not appropriate and I am sincerely sorry to all of you. I sincerely apologize,” Franklin tweeted.

“We’ve tried for many years through counseling, through therapy to try to rectify this private family matter. He never played that part on the recording. I’m not perfect. I’m human and I’m going to make mistakes and I’m trying to get it right. Please keep me and my family in your prayers,” his statement reads.
