Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer Apologizes For ‘Try Eating A*s’ Tweet

Beer brand Pabst Blue Ribbon has apologized for a tweet encouraging followers to try eating a*s.

“Not drinking this January? Try eating a*s,” the bizarre tweet read.

Somebody asked, “PBR or a*s? What’s the difference?” and the brand clapped back: “Ask your mom,” they said, “And dad.”

Pabst Blue Ribbon is reportedly one of the best, cheapest beers in the country. The Twitter promo was obviously meant to go viral and boost sales but people weren’t feeling it.

Some people accused the tweets of being homophobic.

People were appalled at their shameless “Wet January” promotion and they apologized.

“We apologize about the language and content of our recent tweets… the tweets in question were written in poor judgment by one of our associates… In no way does the content of these tweets reflect the values of Pabst and our Associates. We’re handling the matter internally and have removed the tweets from our social platforms,” the apology reads.
