A new court filing allegedly shows that Jamie Spears, the father of pop singer Britney Spears, has been paying himself more money than she earns.
Britney’s lawyer Mathew Rosengart asked that a judge hurry up and remove who has paid himself $16,000 per month from Britney’s estate, which is $2,000 more than he gives his daughter.
According to Hollywood Life, Jamie also allegedly makes another $2,000 per month for office expenses, as well as the millions from Britney’s “services as a performer.”
“The control he had over someone as powerful as me — he loved the control to hurt his own daughter 100,000%. He loved it,” Britney said in her court testimony that shocked the world. “I worked seven days a week, no days off, which in California, the only similar thing to this is called sex trafficking.”
“My dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship and my management who played a huge role in punishing me when I said no—ma’am, they should be in jail,” Britney said.
