One of rapper Nas’ closest childhood friends was gunned down yesterday, just hours after he was seen hanging out with Nas.
Joseph “Taheim” Bryan. 50, was gunned down in Long Island City, Queens – near the Queenbridge neighborhood where two grew up.

Taheim was a good friend of rap star Nas and a movie writer who worked with Ice-T.

“I’m not in a good place behind this.Taheim was a GOOD dude making Positive moves,” Ice-T wrote.
“People ask what makes you Cold… Murder makes you cold, losing friends and family to the streets makes you Cold..,” Ice-T tweeted in a follow up.
Nas was seen handing out with Taheim just a few hours earlier. Here’s a picture of the two hanging out in Queensbridge hours before Taheim was shot.
