Former NBA star Metta World Peace has praised Jake Paul following his win over washed MMA star Ben Askren.
Jake Paul knocked Askren out in the first round — reportedly within about 30 seconds.
“I like Jake Paul, because I think anybody who has a dream should go after that dream. I think what’s incredible about it is he’s doing it! That’s what’s incredible about it, action!” he told TMZ.
“I deserved that sh*t,” Paul said after the match. “This is the craziest moment of my life. I told y’all I was going to do it in the first round. I told y’all I’m a real fighter. I don’t know how many times I got to prove myself that this is for real.”
