There’s about to be some pretty major beef in the world of hip hop between two major female artists – Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj. MTO News learned that Meg apparently threw a couple of shots at Nicki last night.
Megan posted the following tweet, just hours after Nicki Minaj announced that she will be co-hosting the reunion show for Real Housewives of Potomac with Andy Cohen. It’s a curious career choice for a top selling music artist, and Meg’s letting her have it.

Many on social media assume that – given the proximity to Nicki’s unorthodox announcement – Meg was firing shots at Nicki.
Nicki and Meg were friends, and Nicki helped create Hot Girl Summer – Megs biggest song to date. But MTO News confirmed the friendship quickly cooled off since their 2019 smash hit.

When Meg got hot, with Nicki’s help, the Hot Girl Summer rapper turned her back on Nicki – and formed a close friendship with Nicki’s rival Cardi B. Meg and Cardi even created a song together, WAP.
That’s when , MTO News confirmed, Nicki and Meg began firing subliminal shots at each other in music.
In her song “Seeing Green,” released in May 2021, the Barbz were convinced that Minaj had indirectly taken a dig at Stallion as she raps, “One Margarita pizza with Parmesan and garlic. These bitches thirsty, I can see why they alcoholics.”
Then, in June 2021, Stallion released her single “Thot S***,” where she appears to take aim at Minaj, rapping, I’m the big homie, but I ain’t the oldest, hmm / B**** dry hatin’, tryna get noticed. Man, ain’t nobody come to see you, Otis, look.”
