Master P says he’s proud of Snoop Dogg’s recent purchase of Death Row Records.
“I’m proud Snoop is in a place to be able to acquire a company where he started from that he had so much adversity with. That just goes to show you it’s all about raising bosses. My thing is, I feel like No Limit is a university and Snoop is the highest student that come through that. That’s why I got these to you show y’all this,” Master P says in TV One’s Uncensored.
“He’s a graduate of No Limit university. He’s a hallowed historian. We got the Rap Snacks,” he said, holding up a bag. “It’s all about product. I keep telling y’all, product outweighs talent. The Snoop Dogg bag is incredible. This the Snoop Dogg, the OG cheddar and cheese [laughs].”
Snoop shared his plans for the label on Clubhouse.
“Death Row will be an NFT label, we will be putting out artists through the metaverse and a whole ‘nother chain of music,” Snoop Dogg said. “Just like when we broke the industry when we were the first independent [record label] to be major, I want to be the first major in the metaverse.”
