Man Who Threatened To Kill Donald Trump If He Didn’t Step Down In 2020 Charged

A man who once threatened to kill Donald Trump if he didn’t step down as president last year has been charged.

The New York man said Trump was a threat to democracy. He once referred to Trump as Hitler.

Thomas Welnicki, 72, of Rockaway Beach, threatened to do “everything I can” to ensure Trump’s death. He even asked about Secret Service protection for former presidents and their children, Reuters reports. He allegedly told Capitol Police that “if [Individual-1] loses the 2020 election and refused to step down,” he would “acquire weapons” to “take him down.”

TRUMP SAYS HE LOVES WOMEN

Welnicki has been granted a $50,000 bond, which has been guaranteed by his brother John, on the condition that he’s tested, evaluated, and/or treatment for alcoholism and mental health issues, as determined by pre-trial services.

He must also be monitored by GPS tracking devices and cannot leave the New York/Long Island area.

Republicans think Trump will run again in 2024.
