Boxing brothers Logan and Paul Jake have reportedly hired 24/7 security after Floyd Mayweather threatened to kill Jake after he grabbed his hat during a promotional event.
“Dawg, when you have a guy with the resources and the wealth that Floyd Mayweather has and the connection and the network and he’s saying sh*t, ‘I’mma kill that motherf*cker’ — kill?! Death?! You’re gonna kill my brother over a f*cking hat?! Yo, we take that sh*t seriously man!”
Logan said in a video, confirming the round-the-clock security.
Logan and Floyd will be stepping into the ring on June 6 for a promotional fight. The incident between Jake and Floyd definitely created more interest over the fight, which was reported to have struggled to sell tickets. Jake has been banned from the building on the night of the fight, so he will not be able to take up Floyd’s offer of fighting them both on the same night.
