Lil Nas X did so much shocking promotion for his new album, that people were sure the album was going to reach the Billboard #1.
But Lil Nas X’s Montero album sold 126,000 total album-equivalent units while Drake’s Certified Lover Boy sold 171,000 last week and has been at the top spot for three weeks straight.

After dropping videos from the track, the rapper was put on blast by Boosie Badazz more than once, who is openly homophobic. Boosie threatened to beat Lil Nas X if he performed naked on stage — something he jokingly said he would do.
