Last week, Lil Nas X performed on stage during SNL and ripped his pants while doing a pole dance.
Some have accused the rapper of faking it for publicity — but he says it was not intentional.
“I want everybody who thought it was a publicity stunt to see that,” Nas told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. “It was not. I would never rip my pants in public on purpose.”

“Boom, I feel air. I was like, ‘There’s definitely a breeze going on'” he added.
He said while he tried to hide his privates, his dancers were not aware that his pants ripped.
“You know what the worst part is?” he asked Fallon. “At the end of the performance, the dancers are supposed to touch me and tug on me or whatever, and they were tugging on the pants, and I was like, ‘Please, God, no.'”
He says he played it off well. They still had no idea.
“They were like, ‘Come on, Nas, you gotta get ready for your next performance.'”
