Last night rapper Lil Durk and his crew got into an altercation at one of his concerts, MTO News has learned. The rapper was performing in Chicago when he noticed a fan throwing up a rival gang sign and reacted.
Lil Durk is a member of the Black Disciples gang – specifically he’s affiliated with the set known as 300, MTO News confirmed. The “300” Black Disciples set is located in the 300 section of the city.
The fan threw up gang signs for a rival gang – the Gangster Disciples.
The Gangster Disciples are an African American street and prison gang, which was formed in the South Side of Chicago in the late 1960s, by Larry Hoover, leader of the Supreme Gangsters, and David Barksdale, leader of the Black Disciples. The two groups united to form the Black Gangster Disciple Nation (BGDN). The BGDN split up and separated into different factions known today as the Gangster Disciples and Black Disciples and now bitter rivals.
After having had a brief lesson on Chicago gang history – watch what happened when a fan threw up Gangster Disciples sign in the presence of Durk and his friends from the OTF gang (also Black Disciples) at the concert.
