The elevator fight between Quavo and Saweetie went viral earlier this week, and now the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating.
TMZ reports that investigators would like to talk to both rappers separately. Once the LAPD completes its investigation, it could potentially hand over the case to the City Attorney for possible criminal charges. They are trying to establish the moments that led up to the elevator incident and what happened immediately after.

Last month, Saweetie took to Instagram to confirm that she and Quavo had split.
“I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character,” she said.
Quavo then hopped online to respond to the tweet. “I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best.
