Kodak Black has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from his assault of a high school student in 2016.
On Wednesday, Kodak pleaded guilty to charges of first-degree assault and battery under a plea deal and Kodak received a suspended ten-year sentence.
He will be on probation for 18 months.

The unidentified victim said the Kodak attacked her at a hotel room after a show, biting her on the neck and breast. She said he continued even after she told him to stop. She told the high school nurse about the incident, who immediately called the cops.
The victim reportedly agreed to the conditions of the plea deal as long as Kodak took full responsibility for the assault and publicly apologized to her. Kodak issued the apology in the court and agreed to start going to counseling.
“I apologize this happened, and I’m hopeful we can all move forward,” he told the victim who was watching online.
