Kirk Franklin’s son Kerrion is now accusing his mother of assault.
He hopped onto Instagram Live during the alleged incident, to show that he was trying to protect himself.
“I’m ’bout to go to my grandmother’s house. I’m being abused right now, I was assaulted by my own mother,” said Kerrion.
Kerrion said his mother had tried to take him to the hospital. What is puzzling is that during the livestream, she waves at the camera before telling him that he was just seeking attention while she calmly denied the allegations.
In March, Kirk Franklin sat down for an interview with Tamron Hall after Kerrion leaked audio on a call where Kirk can be heard cursing out his son.

“Now that he’s about to be 33 as a grown man the relationship at times can become very agitated and very frustrated…but I’m not going to stop trying to help,” Kirk said. “He’s my son, he’s my firstborn, and I never want him to feel what I felt not having a father… It’s important for me because what if that call is the call that things change.”
