Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney is already looking ahead after breaking up with her husband Tom Schwartz.
“Katie is handling the separation better than expected,” an insider told HollywoodLife. “She knows she’s young enough to completely start over and find someone who makes her happy. A piece of her will always love Tom, but they really had grown apart over the years.”
The insider shared that all of her friends have been very supportive.
“Katie is so thankful she has an amazing group of girlfriends around her and she’s been leaning heavily on Stassi and Lala. Katie loves that she has another single friend now in Lala so they can support each other and know what the other is going through.”
The couple broke up 12 years together.
They announced the news on Instagram.
“Katie & I are separating. I’m not quite ready to use the “D” word bc it’s too painful. Yes my heart aches but I’ll be ok. Not looking to evoke any sympathy here. I’m not the victim. Not gonna write too sad a song,” he wrote.
