The new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has just finished wrapping, and MTO News has some pretty interesting tea regarding the future of Bravo’s new franchise.
MTO News spoke with a show producer who told us that this season is expected to be one of the best in YEARS. But the show producers are looking to upgrade the cast, with a new “big star” housewife.
In the upcoming season, the show will feature Housewives Sheree, Marlo, Kenya, Drew, Sonya, and Kandi.

The producer explained, “Sheree and Marlo are the stars of this season. Drew brought the drama, and so did Kenya. But Sonya and Kandi are on the chopping block.”
The producer continued, “Kandi was boring this season, and she’s the highest paid Housewife. She’s gone after this season.“
MTO News’ insider is confident that this will be Kandi’s final season on the show.
Now for even MORE tea. The producer claims that they are looking to bring The Real star Jeannie Mai to join the cast.
Jeannie and her husband Jeezy have a home in Atlanta, and split their time between Atlanta and Los Angeles, where The Real is filmed.
And Jeannie will make an appearance this upcoming season too. The producer told MTO News that the midseason finale is a vow renewal of Drew and her husband Ralph. The ceremony was attended by many women in the entertainment industry including Keri Hilson, Claudia Jordan, Nivea, Jeannie Mai (with Jeezy) and Chilli.
The producers loved Jeannie’s energy and her on-camera professionalism, MTO News has been told.
So much so that they are currently negotiating with Jeannie’s team to try and bring her on for next season.
