Joe Budden says he won’t be hating on ASAP Rocky anymore after he got Rihanna pregnant.
On his podcast Budden said the news was “this is the final stab to my A$AP Rocky hate. I have to stop hating him.”
“She looks happier than ever,” he continued. “It’s a different look. Love does that to you. I couldn’t be more ecstatic for them.”
Budden also reacted to the meme of Drake looking sad courtside shortly after the news broke of Rihanna’s pregnancy.
“Y’all think I was gonna lose Rihanna music, A$AP music we lost a little while ago, but it looked like there was gonna be more,” he said. “You know you gotta give me something. Take Care 2 is coming.”
On Take Care, Rihanna is considered to be Drake’s muse. Drake and Rihanna dated for a while.
“[Drake] really has professed his love and adoration and admiration for Rihanna on a big scale. He always spoke about them two as if it’s only ‘me and you’ at this level… That’s where it hurts,” said Budden.
In 2018, Rihanna was asked about Drake: “We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either,” she told Vogue. The reporter also wrote that Rihanna winced at Drake’s name before her “eyes glaze[d] over with cool indifference.” “It is what it is.”
