Nicki Minaj fans are desperately waiting for a new album, but Joe Budden doesn't think she should come out of retirement just yet.
After Joe expressed that DJ Khaled should not have released his album last week because of the pandemic, Joe added that Nicki should also consider waiting to drop a new project.

"Did you not just hear everything we said about Khaled dropping during COVID? You want Nicki to drop right now? Nicki, I love you, I wish you and your family well, and that's what I got," he said.
Nicki announced her hiatus in September 2019.

She then clarified her exit during an interview with Billboard.
"I love music and interacting with fans, so I can't really see taking myself completely away. But I want to be open to other possibilities in my life," she said. "I do believe it is important to become a woman outside of the magnifying glass. I have to make sure that I'm well-rounded as a human being."
