Louisiana rapper JayDaYoungan was arrested as an accessory to second-degree murder and obstruction of justice.
Police say the charges are in connection to a deadly altercation at a trail ride last August that left one person dead and two more injured. The shooting involved two gangs. Reports say more than 100 people were in the area and multiple gunmen opened fire.
Zion Hutcherson was killed by a stray bullet. JayDaYoungan’s bond was set at $175,000. He has already posted his bond and been released. The rapper has had other brushes with the law.
He was arrested on charges of hitting a pregnant woman in Harris Country, Texas. He was arrested in Georgia last October for punching and grabbing another woman. In Florida in 2019, he was also arrested for drug charges in Gadsden County.

The rapper JayDaYoungan is most known for the singles “23 Island”, “Elimination”, and “Opps”; which have totaled 170 million streams on Spotify.
