Jayda Cheaves is playing down her recent arrest in Jamaica.
"Thank you all for your concerns," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "We are good and out of court! It was an honest mistake and believe me when I say I learned my lesson." She continued, "I had a ball out here [Jamaican flag emoji] best birthday ever."
Jayda is the girlfriend of rapper Lil Baby. He was not with her during the trip to the island.
Jayda and a member of her entourage, Gregory Wright, have been charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition after two guns and 15 bullets were found in their possession.
They were about to depart the airport in Montego Bay aboard a private jet on Monday when the weapons were found.
Jayda and Gregory Wright both pleaded guilty to two counts of illegal gun possession and accepted over $800,000 in fines, which totals just over $5,000 in American currency.
