A Middle School teacher is going viral, after she appeared to attack a student, then pulled down her mask and breathed on the child’s face, potentially exposing her to a deadly disease, MTO News has learned.
The incident was captured on video, and went viral on TikTok.
In the video, the middle school student was trying to walk away from the teacher, but she was cornered. The teacher is seen with her mask pulled down beneath her chin and intentionally breathing on a student.
Because the student’s back is against a classroom wall, she can’t distance herself from the teacher.
“I don’t care,” the teacher says. The student asks her to get out of her face. The teacher responds, “You get out mine” and tells the student, “Make me.”
The incident took place on Sept. 17 at Mead Middle School in Houston, an underperforming school in an area described by many as “the hood.”
Watch:
MTO reached out to Mead Middle School and received word from the Aldine Independent School District that the teacher shown in the video was “removed from the classroom.”
“The district will take appropriate administrative action,” based on an investigation of the teacher’s “unacceptable” behavior, the district added.
