G Herbo Pleads ‘Not Guilty’ In Wire Fraud Case

G Herbo has pled not guilty to wire fraud charges brought against him by the feds.

Herbo attended a hearing via Zoom. Herbo’s attorney, Jim Lawson, said that his client is innocent and confirmed that Herb understands the charges against him. “Mr. Wright [Herbo’s surname] is an intelligent man; he understands the concept.”

Earlier this month, Herbo was charged with lying to a federal agent after he allegedly told a federal agent in November 2018 that he never knew or worked with rap promoter Antonio Strong.

G HERBO ADDRESSES FRAUD

According to the feds, Strong identified himself as Herbo’s manager when he allegedly used stolen credit card information and IDs to pay for private jets, expensive meals and designer puppies.

“Wright falsely said he’d never provided Strong any money, never received anything of value from Strong and had no direct relationship with Strong,” prosecutors allege. “In fact, since at least 2016, Wright had received valuable goods from Strong, including private jet charters, luxury accommodations and exotic car rentals.”
