Rapper Fredo Bang wants out of his recording contract with Def Jam.
“@defjam how much for my contract? I’m going somewhere I’m valued,” he wrote on Instagram.
He did not explain why he wants to be freed and Def Jam has not publicly responded.
Earlier this summer, Fredo Bang and Lit Yoshi were was arrested in Miami on Louisiana warrants.
The two men live together at the luxury lakeside home. Fredo was arrested on a parole violation. Lit Yoshi is awaiting trial in Baton Rouge for a “violent gang war” involving other rappers.

The pair is associated with a rap group known as Top Boy Gorilla, or TBG, which has been beefing with NBA YoungBoy and his Never Broke Again crew. Two years ago, people fired shots at YoungBoy outside the Trump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach.
At the time, YoungBoy’s girlfriend was shot and wounded, and three innocent bystanders were grazed. Unfortunately, one stray bullet killed Mohamad Jradi, 43, a Hertz rental car employee who had just finished his shift across the street.
