Rapper Flavor Flav was almost killed by a boulder yesterday.
According to TMZ, Flav was driving from Las Vegas to Los Angeles when rain caused a boulder to fall down a cliff and land on the side of his car.
“Thank God he survived and is okay, although a bit emotionally shaken up,” a rep told PEOPLE. If he was on the other side of the road, he could have died.
Flav briefly lost control of the vehicle once the boulder hit his car but was then able to safely get to the other side of the road. His car was totaled.
The accident comes two months after Flav was arrested for domestic battery.
According to the criminal complaint obtained by TMZ, Flav allegedly poked his finger on the alleged victim’s nose, grabbed her, threw her down and grabbed a phone out her hand. The identity of the woman was not revealed. Flavor Flav was arrested and charged with one misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.
