Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah recently accused federal agents of coercing her into making incriminating statements — but they say the reality television star is a “sophisticated criminal.”
Jen claimed that her contacts were blurry during their interrogation.
“The defendant’s blurry contact lens was at most an irritant, but to the extent, it was causing her any physical pain or discomfort, the agents helped her fix it before questioning her,” prosecutors wrote in their motion earlier this month.
According to TMZ, the U.S. Attorneys have put Jen into the “Tier A” category in the alleged telemarketing scheme along with five others. They also say she “obtained leads directly from lead sources and provided them to, among others, coaching sales floors operated in Utah and Nevada.”

Prosecutors also add that two of the six individuals have already been sentenced in the case. One person was hit with a sentence of 78 months in federal prison, while another received 60 months.
It’s looking highly probable that Jen will serve some time behind bars.
