Dr. Dre and his ex-wife Nicole Young are still arguing over whether he ripped up their prenup or not.
According to court documents obtained by Radar, Nicole wants a court to deny Dre’s request to stay their upcoming trial. Nicole says she did sign a prenup before she married Dre in 1996 but that he tore it up years into the marriage.
He says he did not rip it up. She also says that he is trying to drag out the legal proceedings to “drown her” in legal fees.
Her lawyer says she has the “fundamental right to have this divorce proceeding resolved as soon as possible so that she can move on with her life.”
“As it stands right now, the only financial resource Nicole has is the spousal support she receives from Andre, whereas Andre has unfettered access to $183 Million in cash accounts, which he unabashedly uses to fund his luxurious lifestyle, including extravagant purchases of fine art (in the last 5 months, he has spent over $7 Million per month).”
