Trump then says “Yes,” and the crowd begins to boo him. He tells them “don’t” several times before telling them they should take credit for the fight against covid-19.
Trump caught the virus while in office and spent a few days in the hospital. When Covid-19 first erupted, Trump implied it was not that series and accused the Democrats of using it to manipulate voters.
“This was going to ravage the country far beyond what it is right now,” Trump said. “Take credit for it, take credit for it. What we’ve done is historic. Don’t let them take it away. Don’t take it away from ourselves. You’re playing right into their hands when you’re sort of like, ‘Oh, the vaccine.'”
