DJ Envy went viral on Monday after he doubled down on remarks that he made about the killing of 16-year-old MaKhia Bryant.
Dr. Umar made a case against the brutality but DJ Envy can be heard saying, “I’m not gonna lie, I must be a coon, coz I don’t agree with you on this.”

Umar agreed that he was.
Last week, Envy told Charlamagne that the officer’s shooting of the teenager was justified.
“I mean, the cop got a call that said that, these women were jumping somebody. They hop out of the car and see a woman going at another woman with a knife. Yeah, maybe, if they would have shot her in the foot, or shot her in the leg, who’s to say she still couldn’t stab the young girl,” he said.
